Oiling the wheels of fuel delivery

The latest Advantedg application under development will allow heating oil suppliers to reduce overheads in a competitive business with tight and fluctuating margins. In conjunction with an internet ordering system, having a handheld terminal with the delivery truck will allow orders to be converted to payment at the moment of delivery.

The system will plan loads and delivery routes from orders received, taking account of customers’ required delivery dates. Individual drivers will confirm proof of delivery and print invoices based on actual quantities pumped.
